'Go on Then - Make Inclusion Work'
This resource comprises of a video and a booklet that can be used as part of the Citizenship curriculum. It is designed for students at Key Stage 3 but the information and exercises are equally useful for Key Stage 4.
The resource looks at the issue of Inclusion of students with Special Educational Needs and Disability in mainstream school from the point of view of young people.
It was developed with the aid of students in special and mainstream school and outlines:
- Students experiences of Inclusion
- Their hopes
- Their fears
- Exercises about Disability Awareness
- Challenges individuals and schools to develop ways to make Inclusion work
