Aims

Section Summary

Section 1

Emotions

To identify the range of emotions that different behaviours can evoke.

Pupils will:

  • identify and name a range of different emotions
  • identify and discuss their own responses to different behaviours

Section 2

What happens if…?

To identify positive and negative behaviours and the consequences of certain behaviours.

Pupils will:

  • brainstorm good and bad behaviour
  • identify examples of good and bad behaviour
  • use consequence scenario cards - pupils choose an action and discover the consequence

Section 3

Sorting things out

To practise the skills necessary for successfully dealing with conflict.

Pupils will:

  • practise saying "no"
  • practise listening and empathy skills
  • role-play conflict situations
  • practise conflict resolution skills
  • discuss "'win-win"' situations
