	Aims	Section Summary
Section 1 Banana split	To make links between own life and those of others across the globe and recognise that we need other countries.	Pupils will: buy, taste and cook with bananas learn that we cannot grow bananas in the UK track the journey of a banana
Section 2 Water works	To recognise how much all people use water in their lives. To experience some of the difficulties of living without water on tap.	Pupils will: carry out daily routines that use water repeat routines but collect water from a distant part of the school
Section 3 International charities	To develop awareness of the global community and how charities help.	Pupils will: visit charity shops engage in sensory experiences gain insight into Oxfam or a similar charity take part in a role-play take part in a charity collection
